OMG!  I know this is post is kind of off topic but who out there is as excited as I am about New Moon this weekend?!

I Fandangoed my tickets and am going to a midnight screening Thursday night.  There’s six of us from the office that are going and we’re dressing up!  I’m going as Alice!

I’m a little nervous, though… the preview seems to have some scenes that I don’t remember from the book.  I hope They (HOLLYWOOD!!!) didn’t screw it up!

We may have changed but we still like our vampires!

I CAN’T WAIT!!!!!!

I Think I’m Dead, Now What?

Tuesday, November 17th, 2009

I’m getting a TON of emails about ‘what do I do when I change?’

First:  Don’t tell anyone in person.  Phone calls are the best, because you never know when the person you’re telling might go all ‘zombieland’ on you.  Trust me.  Even if you’ve been dating someone for a whole semester and know it’s true love, do it over the phone!

Second: Get yourself embalmed ASAP.  Do not pass Go.  Do not collect $200.00.  Put on your shoes, get your keys, credit cards, and go.  Carlos Diaz’s Life Preservation Center does top notch work and their cliental remains anonymous.

Third: Find a support group and MAKE A DIFFERENCE.  Don’t be all glum, chum!  Come volunteer for The Changed Political Party.  We’ll put you to work and offer hugs when you’re blue (emotionally, I’m talking, cuz let’s face it, we’re ALL a little blue now!)

Fourth: BUY THIS BOOK. Seriously, it’ll help put things in perspective.  The book will introduce you to the people who created our political movement, and they went through the exact same things you’re going through.  Heck, reading the book, you’ll find out all about Christian and his father—yikes!  (Christian Scott is who founded our political party.  He’s a hottie too, but sorry, girls, he’s taken!)

People Vote For Hotties!

Monday, November 16th, 2009

I’m not sure if I’m supposed to blog about this kind of thing, but here goes:

NICHOLAS BUCKMAN IS HOT!!!!

We had a volunteer meeting last night where he talked to us, and I know afterwards, a lot of us were giggling like school girls over him.  WOW.

The meeting was gr8!  We all got assignments and paired up to pass out fliers and put up stickers.  There is A LOT of work to do in running a campaign for Senator!  Who knew? J/K!

If you want to know when our next Changed meeting is, send me an email: itsjustzombies (at) gmail (dot) com or become an intern and you’ll get a heads up so you can come join the party!

Old Fashioned Fear and Hate

Friday, November 13th, 2009

Why did they stop the zombie poker game?

Someone threw in their hand.

Offensive.  Plain and simple.  Why do people have to hate?

I used to think jokes like that were funny, but now… now that I’ve changed, I realize these jokes are fueled by fear and hate.

You can make a difference by NOT telling zombie jokes.  Even If you aren’t the ‘tellee,’ your laughter at these jokes is approval.  With each chuckle, you are telling the ‘jokester:’ You are so funny, keep telling zombie jokes, let’s light up a Molotov cocktail and burn us a few, yuckity yuck yuck.

Why did they stop the zombie hockey game?

There was a face-off in the corner.

Did you laugh?
